Carpenter EFZ specialization wainwright

We are proud to be able to train young wainwrighter in our company with a federal certificate of competence as carpenters specialising in wainwright.

All products which wainwrighter produced in the past are available from us. In addition, we have a large network of specialized, external craftsmen. Saddlers, upholsterers, painters, coachsmiths, car body tinsmiths, etc.

In the picture gallery you will find photos of Maurin Gmünder’s practical thesis 2019.

For his project “Production of two artillery wheels for a mountain gun born in 1906” he received the rating 5,7 and with the top mark 5,5 he completed his apprenticeship as an EFZ carpenter specializing in wainwright.

2021 Joel Holzer has created a prototype for a round bench. The bench was made of solid oak. With the drawing already made, the bench feet are to be manufactured. The joints of the legs are mortised and secured with wooden nails. The steam-bent seat and back slats are connected to the bench feet with screws.

He is now taking the final exams. We wish him good luck!

Erwin Dreier, owner of 3R AG, has spent many years as an apprentice and traveler in this profession. Combined with the experience as a former horse owner, driver and train- Wachtmeister of the Swiss Army a.D. he can advise the customers in the best way.

We are the only company in Switzerland to bend the lands ourselves. Therefore we can offer all common shapes from stock. We manufacture special shapes for example for two-wheeled carriages individually.
