Projects Burri public elements
In spring 2010 we had the pleasure to realize for the first time a project with curved larch battens with the company Burri public elements in Glattbrugg. Many more followed and Burri public elements is now an important partner.

Curved Landi specials – Basel
From the cordoned – off harbor area to the city’s insider tip.
Planed Douglas fir and hot-dip galvanized steel frames with a coating of micaceous iron ore make the benches what they are: modern special versions of the Landi classic from 1939.

Custom made 60 linear meters of arched bench – Zurich
After about fifteen years of planning and construction, the National Museum finally received a makeover.
Thanks to the steam-bending process, the steam-bent larch slats remain dimensionally stable with a full wood cross-section, without gluing.

Landi round bench – Rheinau
The square in front of the church of the monastery island Rheinau has received a redesign.
A steam-bent round bench as well as an arched bench offer space for comfortable hours by the trees.

Landi arched and round benches – Greencity
In addition to Landi 39, arched and round benches, the public areas were also equipped with the newly developed round bench table as well as public bins and bollards.
Where the former production halls of the Sihl paper mill stood, urban life will soon take place in the Greencity urban district.

Arched benches – Rotkreuz
For the area Suurstoffi in Rotkreuz BURRI has realized several arched benches for the project “rotating tree” by Vogt landscape architects.
Due to the rotation, the arched benches are always in a different constellation around the groups of trees.

Arch bench – Arbon
This Landi arched bench has four different radii and a total length of more than 26 meters.
In October 2018, it opened the first Swiss cidery and distillery museum in Arbon TG. The Landi Bogenbank now stands on its forecourt and invites visitors to linger in comfort.

Special benches – Satigny
The commune of Satigny (GE) was looking for ways to liven up its public space with new furniture.
The backrest element is installed in the center. Each bench thus provides seating for 16 people. To prevent personal objects from falling in, the head sides of the backrest are closed with wood.
